Feedback

"EFT is a gentle effective treatment and more often than not a very enjoyable experience. Sue is a very down to earth person and I find it very easy to relax in her company.

EFT has brought positivity & energy into my life.

I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus in 2004 which totally changed my world. I had great difficulty coming to terms with the disease and its side effects, together with the fact that there is no cure, I have had to learn to live with the disease. Since participating in EFT I now feel much more positive about my life. Lupus symptoms are many and varied but since working with Sue and EFT the physical effects have reduced and I tap at home as much as I need to.

The Lupus is no longer the driving factor in my life, it is now in the background. I am finding that it is not controlling me or my life any longer, I am in charge and controlling it. My outlook on life has completely changed. I have more confidence and self esteem.

I have learnt through EFT that nothing is impossible. The majority of the time I am stress free, have much less anxieties about life & am enjoying my life much more. EFT has certainly helped me come to terms with the Lupus & its effects. I would recommend anyone to try EFT to help them deal with their problems".       Sue D. Shrewsbury

Sue attuned me to Reiki I and Reiki II in January and June 2007. She is a

A chance meeting led to my first experience of Reiki. It also coincided with the start of my Nurse Training. I promptly went in search of a Reiki teacher, and found Sue. She 'popped up' where no-one else did. I began attending Sue's Reiki courses which gave me a strong foundation on which to develop my Reiki practice, and integrate it into my daily life.

Sue is generous and consistent, patient and understanding, supportive, honest and truthful and always available to me, without compromising herself. She has shared her beliefs and knowledge openly without expecting me to follow blindly, and always allows discussion without judging so that I am able to follow my 'path' at my own pace within my own experiences. It is not a race, it is not to achieve the highest level for it's own sake, it is the personal journey that Reiki takes each of us on that Sue is aware of and nurtures in all of us.

I am grateful to her for being herself and sharing of herself with me. Reiki supports me in all areas of my life. It brings love, self discipline, understanding and healing on many levels which can be shared with all those I come into contact with. Reiki is available to me at anytime, anywhere and for any situation and always brings what I need at that particular moment. It is exciting and grounding, it opens up new ways of thinking and behaving that encourage me to be the best that I possibly can. It has certainly helped me during my training and continues to do so now that I am working in the health environment. It comfortably sits alongside my way of life and I am thankfully never without it.              JillMastership Student

I met Sue and she helped me settle into Reiki, as I had being attuned by someone else who had moved abroad and I needed more support as I felt wobberly. She was very clear and thorough on explanations of any queries I had and helped me to understand healing for myself and others, encouraging self-confidence and awareness. It always amazes me when someone comes into your life to help, often at the right moment...Thanks Sue, you've a rock.       L. from Shrewsbury Reiki 2 Student

When looking for a Reiki Master/Teacher it was important to me that the person was available for support and any questions I had following the attunement, as a Master/Teacher Sue provided that level of support almost on an instant basis. Sue can be a very challenging Master/Teacher, this is very important, as it is only through challenge that we grow, to allow a person to sit in their comfort zone and not challenge is not a sign of a good teacher.      Sue (Admin Manager.) I first discovered Reiki at the beginning of the year when a teaching colleague recommended it to me. I had been experiencing a lot of discomfort from the tension I tend to hold in my neck and shoulders. I was intrigued by my first Reiki session (not with Sue) and when I saw Sue's details in a health magazine I contacted her to find out more about her level 1 Reiki workshop.

The workshop was friendly and informal yet well-structured. Sue herself was down-to-earth and presented the workshop in a clear and interesting way with plenty of time for 'hands-on' practice and to ask questions. Sue had high expectations of us and the workshop was hard work but very enjoyable. On both evenings after the workshop I felt that I had a lot more energy than usual and this feeling has continued in the months since.

As well as being more energetic, I feel I'm calmer now (although I'm still working on this!). I have a lot more clarity in my goals, I've stopped procrastinating and I've moved forward in a lot of areas of my life. I genuinely feel that the Reiki techniques Sue shared with us in the workshop have given me a tool that I can use in my daily life whenever I am feeling overwhelmed or stressed by my job or life in general. In fact, I've found it easier than I expected to fit Reiki into my life and I now use it several times a week, and every day when I have the time.

I feel I discovered Reiki at a time when I really needed some extra support in my life and my experience so far has been hugely positive.                                                           N. (Teacher) Reiki 1 Student

I have always felt a deep pull inside me to practice healing in some shape or form and then when the time was right Reiki came into my life through Sue. I registered to do my Reiki 1 with Sue and have never looked back, it has been one of the most beautiful things I have ever done or been involved in. The course was over 2 days and held at Sue's lovely inviting home. There was just myself and another lady on the course and we all seemed to mould together like a jigsaw. We went through the history of Reiki and where it originated which was so very interesting and meaningful, we also had attunements and took part in actual practice techniques. We stopped for lots of tea breaks and just enjoyed the feeling of whole environment, people on the course and what we were learning and had been given the gift to enjoy. At the end of the 2 days I felt a real sense of achievement and peacefulness. Knowing I can use Reiki to support my life and others around me is the ultimate life satisfaction I have always wanted.      Thank you reiki and thank you Sue.        C. Mid Wales Reiki 1 Student

My initial involvement with Reiki was neither thought out nor planned. I had never heard of Reiki and simply came across it when I was helping at a Holistic charity fair. Sue had a stall at the event and was busy giving Reiki tasters. On walking by I picked up her leaflet with no particular intension to act on it but simply to have a nosey to find out what it was about. Back home however, after several days of the leaflet repeatedly catching my attention I decided to ring Sue and find out more about Reiki and what it involved. Immediately I felt a connection with Sue, she wasn’t pushy trying to sell the need for me to do Reiki, but just gave me the information leaving me as she put it ‘to follow my heart.’ I knew instinctively that I was supposed to follow it up and within 24 hours I had rung Sue again and booked myself on her Reiki 1 workshop for that coming weekend. This was the beginning of my journey with Reiki which has continued for several years to be my most precious companion.
Why I chose Sue I have had the privilege of completing both Reiki 1 and 2 with Sue and am currently undertaking my mastership training. Thinking back I count myself as very lucky to have chosen Sue to be my teacher. Her strength of commitment and belief in Reiki, shines through and has been an inspiration to me. Her openness and generosity in sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience as both a Reiki practitioner and trainer has been invaluable. Sue is a genuine person who really cares about what she does and about maintaining the best standards. Sue provides excellent support. She has always made herself available to help me process my Reiki experience and understanding whenever I have needed to. Knowing some of Sue’s other students, I know this is also the case with them.
Workshops Having both been a student on her Reiki 1 &2 workshops and also a helper on others as part of my mastership training, I feel confident to talk about Sue in her role as a teacher. Sue echo’s the ethos of Reiki in her teaching role. She honors her students as individuals and ensures that a good amount of time and space is given in each workshop for students to process their learning, practice Reiki and ask questions.
Sue’s workshops are structured to ensure you cover everything you need to know for that level whilst having a lovely informal atmosphere. Sue keeps Reiki simple and makes it accessible to everyone to learn. She keeps to the information you need and doesn’t dilute Reiki with bringing in other therapies/approaches which can often confuse learners and make it hard for them to get a clear understanding of Reiki.
Reiki in my life Reiki is an immediate and infinite source of support to me both on a physical, mental-emotional and spiritual level. I first came to Reiki primarily to help me with chronic muscular problems I had been having for several years. Being able to treat myself with Reiki rather than be simply being reliant on professional help was and is so empowering. The fact I could do something for myself which helped rebalance and sooth my body whenever and however much I wanted was absolutely amazing. I continue to be amazed by it years later.
When I completed Reiki 2 it opened up a whole new door to working on a mental/ emotional level. I was able to use Reiki to aid me in dealing with a range of life challenges and situations to amazing effect. It seems the more I practice and study Reiki, the more I understand myself and with it other people. Reiki at varying times has increased my intuition, helped me to think more clearly, given me courage to work with fears, and give a push or too when my confidence has been lacking.
Mastership Sue has provided me with a very positive role model as a Reiki Master in training, from which to develop my own practice and individual approach. Each level of Reiki is very different and Sue’s breadth of knowledge, skills and understanding to help each individual student at whichever stage are only to be admired.   Marian Chilton Mastership Student (Support worker)

Learning Reiki has allowed me to come to terms with issues from my past and has made me optimistic about my future. Physically, I feel much healthier, stronger and have almost boundless energy. Thank you Reiki!"   N.P. Telford Reiki 2 Student

Following medical problems as a child, I have an ongoing back problem for which I take 8 strong painkillers each day and have tried many other remedies over the years including Acupuncture. After encouragement from my son (who is a Buddhist) I booked a session with Sue Ashton-Green for a Reiki treatment, and a place on her next 1st Degree Reiki course.
My life has dramatically changed since, over a 3 month period I was able to reduce my painkillers till I no longer needed any at all, my overall sense of wellbeing is incredible. I'm able to do things I haven't done in years, and my friends can't believe the change in me.
I did 2nd Degree Reiki 9 months later and I'm not only able to keep myself feeling wonderful, but can give help to friends and family who have problems.
It's over 2 years now since my Reiki 1 and I truly have a new lease of life, it's an incredible gift after so many years of pain and suffering.    Thank you Reiki. Thank you Sue XX

While visiting my brother a month after doing my 1st Degree Reiki he asked if I thought Reiki could help him. He has so much wrong with him it’s unbelievable.   He is in a physically demanding job as a construction worker, and has lived with permanent lower back pain for years, so much so that he has to take painkillers 1hr. before getting out of bed and going to work. Even so his wife says "He rolls out of bed like an old man."  He also has pain in his right shoulder which he says he has had for months.
His left leg has poor circulation, which leads to little sensation below the knee. On top of this he complains of cystitis and bladder problems. Dr. can find no reasons for these problems.  He has tried various remedies for these ailments including Chinese medicines.  I stayed a week and gave him Reiki every day.
After 3 days he didn’t need to take any painkillers before he got out of bed, and when he came home from work he strolled in walking much more relaxed and confident than I have seen him for ages. When I left to come home he is feeling very much better generally, the pain in his shoulder has gone, and the pain in his back has reduced to a manageable level so he is not taking any medication now.  He says "He feels good about himself,"   4 months after this he met with Sue and did 1st Degree Reiki for himself.         Thanks Sue                                                                               Sister of Terry

Having read a little about Reiki I knew it was very important to find the right Master (no single person would be right for everybody) and although intrigued and excited about this fantastic-sounding healing energy, was also initially rather apprehensive simply because it was different from anything I had experienced before. I knew it could trigger (powerful) emotional responses (part of the healing process) and as I am quite a sensitive person and often shy, I wanted to feel 'safe' and not judged in any way. I rang Sue for a chat and to arrange an appointment and felt instantly at ease talking to her.
My first treatment was wonderful, a comforting, soothing energy - I felt totally safe and secure
. Remember feeling a powerful surge of energy from my head down to my heart giving me a strong urge to laugh, as if connecting with a deep sense of joy inside me. After the treatment we talked about learning Reiki (something I had wanted to do for a while but I was beginning to feel that the right time had come). I liked her approach to Reiki but she encouraged me to speak to other masters and have treatments elsewhere too, sound advice which I followed. It was helpful to talk to other masters and also nice to know that Sue put my personal wellbeing first.
Since being attuned over three years ago Reiki has changed my life in many wonderful ways and on different levels, my eating habits gradually changed for the better. I am now much less bothered by what people think of me and (from very soon after my attunements) I acquired a greater trust in the spiritual side of things. I remember going for a walk with a friend in the middle of Wales during which we got hopelessly lost and ended up walking home in the pitch black without a torch (we hadn't intended it to be a night excursion!), we couldn't see a thing, there were no street lights and no-one around. My friend was scared and I knew that only a month earlier I would have been too, yet I had an overwhelming sense of calm, I just knew everything would be fine and was able to enjoy the nature and stillness. However everyone experiences something different with Reiki, there is so much more to it than I have written, if you are thinking about learning it for whatever reason, (personal healing, healing others, spiritual journey) I would strongly recommend it, it will be with you for life, and help you to constantly discover new things. Reiki has also presented me with various challenges. I have learnt a lot and had my ups and downs and Sue has been an invaluable source of support and kindness to me. I feel eternally grateful to her.

"Reiki (and Sue) came into my life when I was at just about my lowest ebb. One treatment removed a lot of the anger I had not even been aware of until it had gone.

Sue is a good teacher who takes time to ensure that a complete understanding is achieved, and organises the teaching so that 'hands-on' demonstrations take place at strategic points to reinforce the theoretical knowledge base. Attunements are a powerful and deeply personal experience, and allowing the energy to settle is an important part of the process. When Sue says she offers back-up afterwards so that people can ring to discuss any queries about the effects of Reiki attunements or about their personal development with regard to Reiki, I can vouch for the fact that she really means it.
I wholeheartedly recommend Sue as a teacher.          J. from Shropshire
