About Sue

I have worked full-time in private healthcare practice since 1995 and in that time have continued to learn and develop professionally. I have extensive experience of working with individuals and groups, with a broad spectrum of backgrounds and health & life challenges. Because of the nature of my work I have been CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked and cleared at an 'enhanced' level. If you need to see the disclosure please ask.

Reiki

I have has been practicing Reiki for myself since 1997, continued with my studies and in 2000 completed a year long training to became a Master/Teacher of the Usui System. Since then I have practicing and teaching Reiki continuouslyprofessional basis.

I am a Master Teacher Practitioner Member of the UK Reiki Federation and am fully insured.

EFT or Emotional Freedom Techniques

I am an Advanced Practitioner (Level 3) Member of AAMET the Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques.

I have attended Level 1, 2 & 3 training workshop's with Phoenix EFT as well as successfully passing an exam paper and submitting several satisfactory case studies. I am certified as an Advanced Level Practitioner.

Phoenix EFT provides training that is recognised and approved by EFT worldwide founder Gary Craig.

In October 2007 I attended a 2 day International EFT Masterclass with a multitude of EFT 'tappers' and 16 EFT Masters.

Continued Professional Development

As a dedicated professional, I am committed to my continued professional and personal development in all areas of my work and regularly attend related training events. I also abide by the codes of practice set by my professional bodies.

One area of healthcare that I have gained quite extensive experience in is Palliative care - ‘the treatment/care of individuals and their loved ones when a cure is no longer available’. My experience is with both Reiki and as a Foot Health Care Practitioner in connection with the Severn Hospice, Shrewsbury as well as with individual private appointments.

Statement

I am committed to providing the highest possible level of treatment, training, care and support (as appropriate) to all of my clients, patients and students, with mutual respect and consideration. If however, I feel that I am unable to meet the individuals needs, I will discuss this with the client/student/patient and possibly suggest another qualified individual.

Personal

My previous 16 year career in Hotel Management took me around the UK and to the Channel Islands, then after a time living in Australia I returned to the UK. In 1991, I moved to Shropshire, have settled and made my home in Shrewsbury.
